So I’m officially on my summer vacation! We’re not going to travel this year because my husband is too busy with his firm, so we’re planning to travel to Asia in the wintertime instead…

New In x Look

Hey guys…

Just bought these plateau gladiator sandals from Designers Remix. They usually cost 215€, but they were on sale plus I had a gift certificate, which meant I only had to pay 30€, so I thought “What the heck?!”…

At first I didn’t really like them… Then I totally did! I think they’re kind of a “Hate them or love them” type of sandal… What do you guys think?

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Panda

My husband is really into kung-fu movies, while I’m more of a “drama-queen”… 😉

But yesterday he introduced me to the movie “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”, which is from 2000 (What was I watching back then?), that absolutely blew me away! A real breathtaking movie with stunning scenes and beautiful music ♥ (SPOIL ALERT!) I almost cried and sobbed at the end, when she leaps over the edge 🙂

Today my son was sick and he loves his kung-fu as well, so naturally we had to watch Kung-Fu Panda 1 & 2…

I know it’s been a bit slow on the blog these few days (I even missed a post one day!). I’ve even stopped replying all of your sweet comments, but now I’m back on track – And that’s with everything!

Some of you may have noticed that my “No Ordinary Monday” report have been missing a couple of Monday’s? It’s not that I’ve given up, but I’ve been a little sad since we had our apartment broken into and basically my cravings have been CRAZY!

But now I’m back with a vengeance… I’ve been hitting the gym 5 times the last 7 days!

Everyday Look x Chic x Casual x Comfy

DIY Diamond Pave Shamballa Style Bracelet

As promised, I’d show you guys how I made a Shamballa/Nialaya style bracelet with the diamond pave gold balls I just got…

 

1) First you’ll need: Diamond pave stones – Onyx stones – Nylon string – Super glue (All can be bought at your local bead store except for diamond pave balls)

 

2) Put the amount of balls on the nylon string and in the order you wish

 

3) Tie each end of the nylon string(1) – In my case: One end to the table the other end around my stomach

4) Take a new piece of nylon string(2) and begin making two macrame square knots, one macrame square knot between each ball and two macrame square knots at the end

 

5) Now untie the nylon string(1) from each end

 

6) Take each end of the untied ends and fold them across each other – Take a new nylon string(3) and make four macrame square knots making the “tightening mechanism” (Make more square knots if necessary)

 

7) Cut all edges of and apply superglue to secure the end-knots and let it dry

 

8) VOILA! Now put it on your wrist ♥
