Copenhagen Fashion Week x Gallery

Hey guys…

During Copenhagen Fashion Week I went to the “Gallery”, where they showcased the different brands’ SS13 collections. There were sooooo many pretty thing – I seriously could’ve bought the whole place! Cain’t wait for spring & summer 2013 ♥

Copenhagen Fashion Week SS13 x Stine Goya

Yesterday I went to Stine Goya’s SS13 show… I was sooo excited since it’s one of my ABSOLUTELY favorite danish brands ♥

The show was no disappointment…! She always seems to surprise me with the most beautiful prints and in this collection I JUST LOVED the the pants, the many jackets and showpieces.

I especially fell in love with a long padded jacket and the short waistline version as well ♥

The hair, make-up and scene had a circus and harlequin-like feel…. The show was really inspirational, the setting was beautiful and the attention to details was incredible.

Here are some of my favorite looks.

(I also went to Gallery, which is where they show all the SS13 collections from the different brands – I’ll post pictures tomorrow!)

Danish: Igår var jeg til Stine Goya’s SS13 show og det var absolut IKKE en skuffelse! Hun overrasker mig hver gang med de flotteste print og i denne kollektion var jeg især vild med bukserne, de mange jakker og deres showpieces. Jeg blev HELT forelsket i den lange vatteret jakke og den korte taljet version♥  Håret, make-up og scenen havde en slags cirkus eller harlekin-agtig følelse… Alt i alt et SUPER inspirerende show, smuk settings og sindsyg skarp sans for de små detaljer. Her er mine ynglings looks… Ps. Jeg var også i Gallery i Forum og tjekke de mange lækre SS13 kollektioner ud – Jeg poster billeder imorgen!

New In x Balenciaga x CFW SS13

I’ve been wanting this bag for soooo long and I finally got it… It’s the city model, which is perfect for everyday and nights out ♥

Yesterday Copenhagen Fashion Week SS13 started and the Spring/Summer shows is always excited…

I was invited to a couple of shows but couldn’t make most of them, since it was my husband’s birthday yesterday. I decided to have a romantic dinner instead!

Aren’t I sweet…? I sacrificed my own personal obsessions of fashion shows for my husband – Haha!

I did go to Wackerhaus’ show, which I absolutely LOVED: A lot of pastels, light mints, jumpsuits, playsuits and loose dresses ♥

Danish: Så fik jeg endelig tasken, som jeg har ønskede mig i såååååå lang tid ♥ Som mange af Jer nok ved startede Copenhagen Fashion Week SS13 igår og jeg var inviteret til et par shows, men da det var min mands fødselsdag valgte jeg istedet at spise en romantisk middag og nåede kun Wackerhaus’ show, som var FANTASTISK: En masse pastelfarver, lys mint, jumpsuits, playsuits og løse kjoler  ♥

Copenhagen Fashion Week x Avia AW Show

Once again it’s monday… Boring old monday!

As I told you guys I went to see the AW12 collection from Avia of Scandinavia – Let me tell you: It was very sexy, very haute couture and the collection oozed with luxury! All of the models wore jewels from Black Dakini…

So for this cold, snowy and boring monday, I thought I would inspire you all with some bold and sexy laces…Have a great day!

Copenhagen Fashion Week: Soulland AW 2012

Soulland’s AW12 collection was awesome… A lot of collage prints, knitwear and a good mix of sharp colors. The whole collection had strong inspirations and references to Russian culture and a cool detail to underline it was that all of the models had grey hairstyles… I could definitely imagine my husband in some of their printed shirts and printed knitwear!

Today I was at the Avia of Scandinavia show and I was at Gallery to check out the AW2012 collections – I’ll give you guys an update and pictures tomorrow!

Copenhagen Fashion Week: Sand AW 2012

As I told you guys yesterday I went to some different shows: Sand, Soulland & Malene Birger.

I was really looking forward to see Malene Birger’s show, but misunderstandings, bad coordination and bad timing meant that I didn’t make the show… The thing was that both Sand and Soulland was held at Copenhagen City Hall; Sand was from 19:00-20:00 and Soulland was from 21:00-22:00 and Malene Birger was in between those two shows also at Copenhagen City Hall (So I thought!). Some how I got it mixed up and when I finally realized that it wasn’t at City Hall, I couldn’t make the show in time.

People that know me would just shake their heads and say: “That’s so Yasmin-like”… Haha, yes I admit it – I do get confused sometimes!

Copenhagen Fashion Week Update

I’m on my way to some more shows and events! First up is Sand at Copenhagen City Hall. Later I’m going to Malene Birger and Soulland among others. I’ll be blogging about the shows and the events tomorrow, so be sure to be back to check out photos and updates!

Stine Goya x David Andersen A/W Show 2012

Sorry for the delayed updates… It’s been hectic the last 24-48 hours, as I told you guys yesterday!

Anyways… Back to the subject at hand: Copenhagen Fashion Week!!

I kickstarted my fashion week with a David Andersen and a Stine Goya show.

The David Andersen show was very minimalistic, very simple yet dramatic and the collection was mostly held in black, but far from boring. It was all about the details – A lot of leather, sequins and asymmetric cuts. Most noticeable piece was definitely the see-through knit (Not that I would ever wear it… LOL!) and the stuff with sequins. I didn’t have any fancy “VIP-front-row-spot”, so I was all the way at the back and I didn’t have my tele-lens on me! Anyways, here’s a few snaps:

The Stine Goya show was fantastic! She showcased her A/W 2012 collection at the beautiful Copenhagen Town Hall and it was no disappointment – I can’t wait for it to hit the stores as I could see a lot of it ending up in my closet!

This time I had some better seats (Third row), so I was right where the action was. Luckily for me though, a stylist I knew was sitting front row. So when the show started and the lights faded, I snuck up there with my Canon camera…

Yes, I know… I’m such a bad girl, but remember: I’m doing it for you guys out there!

The collection was very seductive, raw yet very feminine and bared a lot of prints. Colors were mostly black/dark tones and “nature-like”, some light pastels and it all was beautifully styled. Noticeable pieces was the black-toned items with gold embroidered details and the jackets. It’s hard to pin-point just one special piece, since I loved most of it, but I kinda like the oversized leather jacket… #megusta

Today’s “Everyday Look” x New Haircut

Today I’m wearing… A new haircut!

Yesterday after work I went to my hairdresser Tom Skou – He is absolutely fab with the scissors and his work is incredible. I’ve been to many hairdressers in Copenhagen (NO I won’t mention any names!), but I’ve never been quite satisfied with my hair until Tom Skou did his magic – It’s always like I want it, super sharp and perfect!

I got my hair done in the almost famous Tom Bob Haircut. #iwillnevercheatonhim

Let me tell you guys – Wow… What a treatment I got! (My daughter got a little treatment as well)
He got these new award-wining products from Philip B. that he uses and it feels fantastic. I got my hair washed with “African Shea Butter” and “Russian Amber”. My hair was styled with “Maui Wowie Beach Mist” (Try to say that 10 times in a row.. LOL) and Jet Set Hairspray. I think I found my new favorite hair products. If you’re in dying need of a new and fresh haircut or just want to buy the Philip B. products – I highly recommend you go to Tom Skou’s Salon @Frederiksholms Kanal 4 Gården 1220 KBH K. For all of you not living in or close to Copenhagen, please do Yourself a favor and watch his videos for hair-inspiration. I’ll show you guys the end result later today…

As most of you know Copenhagen Fashion Week officially starts today… YAY!!!

That means two things: Fashion Shows x Fashion Parties!!!
I’m super syked about David Andersen’s show later today – I absolutely LOVE his style: It’s personal, a bit arrogant, sophisticated and doesn’t have that dansih “who-do-you-think-you-are?!” attitude… I see a lot of similarities in him and Rick Owens.

Today the first snow has fallen, so had to keep warm… I was wearing a coat & jeans from Designers Remix, cardigan from Samsøe Samsøe and a pair of rabbit fur boots moccasins…

A Decade of Danish Fashion

As I wrote earlier I had a “B-day Party” for my daughter and her kindergarten – Tomorrow it’s family.  After the party @Capella Play, I naturally felt the need to clear my thoughts…

So my husband, my two (tired) kids and I went over to The Danish Design Centre to slow things down a bit. DANSK Magazine has just launched the exhibition:

“10 years of DANSK – A decade of Danish fashion”

The exhibition shows how a significant part of Danish fashion history has been written over the past ten years. Every year between 2002 and 2012 is illustrated via individual designs, fashion photographs and other curiosities from the world of DANSK, chosen to give a chronological depiction of the developments and creative currents that have defined each year.

VERY COOL & INSPIRATIONAL… Especially the beautiful Stine Goya Silk dress (Can’t wait for her fashion show next thursday). It is a perfect way to kick-start Copenhagen Fashion Week starting next week.

I highly recommend a visit, so if you’re are in Copenhagen make sure you check out the exhibition, which runs until March 4^th, 2012.
